What a fab weekend!

What was a truly fantastic weekend for all the Pets'n'Vets staff, Scotland's first ever Dog Lover Show in September offered both dog owners and dog lovers the chance to enjoy performances and displays from some of the UK's most talented dogs. Visitors were also able to meet lots of breeds, get grooming and training advice, as well as visit us, the Vet!

We took along to the SEC our popular Junior Vets Club, so younger visitors could experience being a Vet or Vet nurse. Our super talented team also did a series of presentations on our range of specialist procedures.

Our Managing Partner Oliver Jackson said ahead of the Show: “Ever wanted to experience being a Vet or Vet Nurse? Well... now’s your chance! Come along and meet the entire Pets'n'Vets Family at this weekend’s Dog Lover Show, where our Junior Vets Club will let you feel what it's like to work in a consulting room, lab and theatre, with our hands on experience for kids of all ages.

“You can also hear our fantastic team talk about dog behaviour, allergies, laparoscopic surgery, CPR, BOAS and much much more! We’ll have face painting, Ask a Vet, as well as your chance to win a doggy birthday party, plus days out for the family.

“The Dog Lover Show is all set to be a spectacular day out for any dog lover. Our leading team of expert vets and nurses will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions you may have about your pet.

“And any dog owners unable to make it along to the Dog Lover Show, can always make an appointment to see the cutting-edge facilities at the Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital.”
